Family law issues can be emotional, gut-wrenching, and sometimes just plain scary. Knowing how to hire the right kind of attorney to represent you can often seem overwhelming. I am a family law attorney here in Orlando. My goal with each client is to provide compassionate yet straightforward legal advice, with efficiency and thoughtful solutions to complicated issues. I invite you to explore our site to learn more about my approach, and then call or email for a free, over the phone consultation.

My Approach

Lawyers are a dime a dozen but a good one who puts her clients’ needs and realistic resolution first can be hard to find. Family law issues can be taxing, emotional , drawn out and thus expensive. Dragging cases out to earn more fees or to lengthen the process is almost never helpful to the client. I work hard to get each case handled with care and efficiency - to avoid lengthy, expensive litigation. Typically, unnecessary, expensive litigation does nothing to help either side. The sooner the parties can come to a realistic settlement, the happier everyone will be. Setting realistic expectations at the outset of each case is an important part of my job, so that settlement can be achieved as quickly as possible. If and when litigation is required however, I have a track record and a reputation among my peers for an aggressive, no-holds barred approach.

About Holly

I grew up in Windermere in Southwest Orlando and attended West Orange High. Upon graduation, I left Orlando to become a Gator. I received my B.S. and later my law degree from the University of Florida. I met my husband in Gainesville and together we returned to Orlando after graduate school to put down roots and raise our two beautiful daughters here in Central Florida.

I graduated from University of Florida Law School in 2000 and began my legal career at Foley and Lardner here in Orlando. I later left to pursue other dreams, such as working as a public defender in Orange County, as well as teaching as an adjunct professor at the University of Florida College of Law. I spent several years teaching Legal Research and Argumentative Writing at UF Law.

Family Law has always been a passion of mine, ever since I became a lawyer 10 years ago. I have a wide breadth of experience in other areas of law, but have always preferred the personal side of family law. I consider myself a warm, compassionate individual, with a sharp legal mind, and an extremely acute negotiation style. Family law allows me to use all my strengths to get my clients the results they deserve. I have handled hundreds of family law cases and each one is different.
